BA in Public Administration and Development Management
Five for regular and six for extension
Upon admission to the universities/Institutes of Technologies, students will join the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering based on the placement by the universities/Institutes of Technologies and the students’ interest for the discipline after completing the freshman semester.
Students must take and pass all the required modules to satisfy the requirements for graduation. CGPA and MGPA at least 2.00 No “F”, “D” grades Other requirements might be set by specific University graduation requirements.
Program Details
The program prepare students for administrative positions as well as in research and consultancy activities in governmental, non-governmental agencies, and academic institutions and, to some extent, in business organizations.
Carrier Direction
Graduates of PADM can effectively perform obligations in government, non-government, and private organizations, including those listed below:
- Demonstrate knowledge of administrative and public policy formulation and implementation.
- Manage a variety of development projects in both government and non-government organizations.
- Manage human and material resources efficiently and effectively. Raise funding and mobilize resources for NGOs.
- Act as a go-between for government and non-government organizations.
- Manage public financial resources so that they can be used effectively.
- Create the system and make effective administrative communication easier.
- Manage a variety of government enterprises.
- Lead human resources effectively in order to achieve organizational goals.
- Conduct independent research and consulting to solve administrative, political, and economic issues.
- Suggest solutions by comprehending the issues associated with changes in administration in both public and commercial sectors.
