Alpha University Collage

Alpha University College (AUC) is a distance education institution in Ethiopia that was founded in 1981 with the goal of providing vocational and technical training to those who are unable to attend regular classes. In 1994, the institution was transformed into the Alpha Education and Training Share Company (AETSCO) and began offering accredited distance higher education programs leading to certificates, diplomas, and degrees. AETSCO has a strong reputation in Ethiopia and has seen a steadily increasing number of students enroll in its programs over the years. In order to expand its services and achieve its vision and mission, AUC has brought together highly qualified professionals to form its core. The institution offers a range of programs for both distance and regular students in fields such as economics, accounting, business management, information technology, and public administration.

Alpha University College offers the following degree programs:-

Duration of Study Programs
For distance students under normal conditions the duration of study shall be four academic years provided that adults take four courses (12 Cr. Hrs) in each term.

Academic Calendar

The Academic Calendar of AUC regular degree program consists of six semesters of sixteen weeks each. To help some students, ‘Kiremt’ crush programs of two months or eight weeks (July to September) can be arranged. The normal study program shall continue from the beginning of Meskerem( September) to the end of Nehassie (August) each year.
