Program Details

The political science program focuses on the study of government theories, government processes and institutions, and political dynamics that contribute to the establishment, evolution, and functioning of governments worldwide. Introduction to US politics, comparative politics, political theory, and international relations are required of all political science majors. Majors are then given the option of selecting from a choice of advanced courses, allowing students to tailor a plan of study that either continues to span multiple of these fields or gives specialization in one of these fields.
